PVC Pulveriser Machine
Vishnu Engineering’s PVC Pulveriser Machine converts PVC granules, chips, and regrind into a fine, free-flowing powder suitable for downstream processing dry blending, pipe manufacturing, cable compounding, and more. After 25 years in the plastics machinery business, we know what operators actually need from a pulveriser: consistent particle size, low heat generation during grinding, and a machine that runs without constant attention.
Our pulveriser uses a disc-type grinding mechanism with hardened steel discs that maintain sharpness over extended production runs. The grinding gap is adjustable, giving you control over the output particle size from coarse to fine depending on the application. A built-in cooling system keeps the grinding chamber temperature in check critical for PVC, which degrades if it gets too hot during the pulverising process.
The machine runs with a direct-drive motor arrangement, which means fewer moving parts, less vibration, and lower maintenance requirements compared to belt-driven designs. The hopper is generously sized for continuous feeding, and the output is consistent enough that downstream equipment compounders, mixers, extruders can run without interruptions caused by inconsistent powder quality.

FAQs
Yes. The machine handles both rigid and flexible PVC grades. Disc gap settings may need minor adjustment depending on the hardness and feed size of the input material, but no major mechanical changes are required.
Disc life depends on the material hardness and production volume. Under typical PVC processing conditions, discs last several hundred operating hours before replacement is needed. We supply replacement discs and the changeover can be done by your own maintenance team.
Output particle size is adjustable by changing the disc gap. The machine can produce powder ranging from approximately 35 mesh to 60 mesh, which covers most PVC processing requirements. Finer output is possible with closer disc settings, though production rate decreases accordingly.
